Since 1995 Deshkal has also produced a series of publications covering recommendations for their social transformation and materials developed in this process. Our aim through our documents and publications is to study, document and highlight ourcommunity's plight, to bring out the reality of Dalit lives in this country and advocate for positive changes in caste-bound mindsets and for implementation of laws and policies to protect and promote Dalits' rights.
Some of our important publications are Dalit Studies in Higher Education, 'Asserting Voices: Changing Culture, Identity and Livelihood of the Musahars in the Gagetic Plains', Hindi Nai Chal Mein Dhali, Bhasa Boli Aur Samaj etc.
